Hola a todos mis companeros, aqui voy a subir lo que prepare para la clase de ayer. Evidentmente no tenia tiempo para habalr sobre todo los temas que habido preparado. Entonces, lo siento si no hable claramente. Creo que habia una miscommunicacion entre nosotros y aqui quiero compartir con ustedes mis pensamientos para que puedan entender lo que estoy diciendo perfectamente.

There exists value in all our identities, and we must remember to pay attention and give credit when it is rightfully and justifiably due.
The US has intended to understand who falls under the blanket term “Hispanic/Latino” to better allocate resources to people who need them, as is the purpose of the census
-What is the Hispanic/Latino identity?
-> Who is included in this category?
-The US includes the Spaniards with us, so are we (Latin America including the Caribbean) to include the Spaniards with us? Or are we to believe they have absolutely nothing to do with us anymore? Generally, how do Spaniards feel? Generally, do they identify with us? Does Spain feel they should have anything to do with our countries?
-> There are Hispanics with more Spanish descent than others, how have they identified over time? How might a white Hispanic abuse their white privilege? Is it possible for a white Hispanic to use their white privilege in any positive way?
-> Even though Spain is a predominantly white country, there are Spaniards of Arabic and African descent.
– Research history of Spain (there is a lot to uncover)
– Why is it that Spain is the only Spanish speaking country to use “vosotros?” Which regions of Spain came to Latin America and the Caribbean? Did they use vosotros?
– Examine and analyze the different economic systems of our countries, for example, between Argentina and Bolivia
-> What happened to Evo Morales? Why did they exile him out of his own country? And why Mexico, in particular, offer him refuge?
-> Even though Argentina is virtually doing well, why do you think that is and what does it have to do with their identity? What kind of government does Argentina support?

When discussing the varied identity of Latin America, including the Caribbean, it is imperative we discuss Afro-Latinidad/Afro-Hispanidad. African culture has played a major role in the contributions made to Latin America, however still not completely recognized in our identity.

– While you’re looking that up, research the history behind Argentina (you may be surprised)

I wanted to end this little presentation of what I came up with a message for you all, my classmates. I have hope that Latin America (of course including the Caribbean), can one day be realized as a united nation, albeit slow, yet still achievable. It is time we bring much to the forefront and now, currently, we need to start making a difference. This is our prime time and I need your help; we need each other’s help; it is up to us do right by each other.

Sorry guys, I was a little misinformed on the vaccine for the covid-19. It turns out that since US as it is today, is the world’s leading superpower nation, and of course a superpower needs to impose its power on a global scale to maintain foreign influence and economic trade affairs, otherwise there would be all sorts of chaos, tried to keep Cuba under strict vigilance, impeding them from helping in this pandemic.
Cuba invests in healthcare, they believe it is not about the money they make as doctors, but rather the need to help people. Cuba created a drug, Interferon Alpha-2B, jointly developed by China and Cuba, and many Cubans were deployed to other nations issuing their medicine to help severely reduce the crisis of the current pandemic in which we are all trying to combat.
Italy looked to a Latin American country, which by the way China is fully supporting and in doing so, Cuba may continue their development of medicine for the coronavirus, so thank you Cuba. Let’s hope we get to devise the vaccine to be able to produce one on a much larger scale. Keep it up, Cuba.

Las consecuencia de haciendo latino a una raza
Hola! yo quería hablar más del idioma de raza y etnia. Vas hacer una pieza larga pero interesante, perdón por los mistakes por adelantado! debajo voy a dejar links de papeles de esta idoma. Primeramente, raza es construcción social es algo creado para separar los blanco a cada otra raza. Raza es físico, es algo que es determinado por viendo a alguien, comparado a etnia que es cultural. Por ejemplo, caribe es una etnia pero gente de las caribeñas pueden ser blanco o negro o otro. Ahora, para latinos es lo mismo. Cada lugar latinos tienen una historia diferente que lleva a diferente razas. Las gente en México van a ser diferente de las gente en la República Dominicana. Esta historia es importante para las gente de estos país. Por qué con raza viene una identidad. Aunque, raza fue creado para sepra y dominar los que no son blanco (todavía se usa para eso, el racismo no está muerto), raza creó una identidad para mucha gente. Pero el raíz de la ideología de raza o racismo todavía afecta mucho. Todo las gente que no son blanco experiencia el oppression y racismo de los blanco. Aunque no es directo los blanco beneficio de la sociedad que vivimos en. Esta structure afecta lo que no son blanco tanto que ese odio de piel oscuro se convierte en colorismo y auto odio. Es algo que vive en todoas la comunidad de gente de color. Entonces, no solo hay colorismo dentro de la etnia, sino que también hay historias diferentes. Por eso creo que hispanic no es una raza. Haciéndolo una raza lleva la eliminación de las historias y ignora la opresión de las diferente razas. Afrolatinos son tratados horribles y no tiene el privilegio que blanco latinos tiene. Por que latino que no se viene latinos tiene una ventaja en sociedad. Afroamericanos y afrolatinos viven en una oppression que afecta cada segundo y no pueden escapar, mientras tanto blanco latinos fisco le dan un pase al el mundo de los blancos. Es entendible que mucho latinos so mezclas y no saben donde pertenecen. Pero hey fuerza en tu historia y la historia de tu gente. No hay nada malo con ser diferente. Somos unido en nuestra etnia pero somos diferente en raza y mucho más.
Además, a decir que no importa que si eres blanco laino, afrolatino, o nativo latino es una manera de borrar historias y identidades. Diciendo nosotros necesitamos ser unido con poca importancia de raza es otra mandada a implicar desigualdad racial. Mucha ves latinos que pasan por blanco (Odio generalizar, pero esta mentalidad está enraizada en el colorismo.) tiene la mentalidad que hay mucho separation en la etnia latino, so creen que mirando pasado de raza es la solución. Es mentalidad es muy colorista. Por ejemplo, el Black Lives Matter movement era para concienciar sobre la discriminación y el racismo que policia perputaded contra la comunidad negra. Pero, gente trato a desafiar el movimiento por decir que es racista y que toda vidas importa. Desafortunadamente, esa punto de vista elmina el presupuesto del movemento. No es que creen que la vida de la gente negra son más importante de otro es de el mundo ves la vida de la gente negra as meno. Esta situation es muy familiar porque muestra la importancia de diferenciar etnia y raza.
